So I disconnected the power, opened it up, and just swapped the RAM sticks positions (just hoping it'd do something). I tried a couple more times and still nothing. So I had to do a hard shut down and when I turned it back on the motherboard wouldn't POST.
And when I was moving my mouse to click on save changes and restart, it just hard locked up. I went back to the BIOS settings, changed the speed, and clicked exit. So I did that, and figured I'd just try it again. After about 30 seconds it came back up with a BIOS screen saying the overclocking failed and to press F1 to go into setup. I clicked exit and then clicked save changes and restart. So tonight I went into the BIOS and manually changed the RAM frequency to 2666 MHz. I checked the RAM speed in cmd and it said it was running at 2133. I finally finished the build last night, updated to the latest BIOS, got windows 10 installed, and installed all my games and programs. I got this RAM because it was specifically listed on the QVL for this motherboard which said it will run at 2666 with Ryzen. It's on the Asus Prime X370 Pro motherboard.
So I just built my first PC with a Ryand a GTX 1080.
